10. General conditions of services
Troca de Fechaduras provides locksmith and lock assistance services in the Algarve, including opening doors, changing locks, changing cylinders and opening cars, subject to availability and confirmation of the order.
Orders made via the website, telephone, WhatsApp or email do not automatically guarantee the provision of the service. The intervention is subject to validation of availability, location, technical conditions, urgency and acceptance of the budget or estimate presented.
11. Budgets, prices and travel
Whenever possible, we provide an estimate before travel or intervention. The final price may depend on the type of lock, urgency, time, distance, necessary parts, technical complexity and conditions found at the location.
When the problem can only be confirmed in person, the customer will be informed before the service is carried out whenever possible and reasonable.
12. Customer Obligations
The customer must provide true, complete and updated information, guarantee that they have the right to request opening, repair or replacement, and present identification or proof of authorization when requested.
For security reasons, we may refuse or suspend an intervention if there are doubts about access authorization, risk to people or property, insufficient information or suspected misuse of the service.
13. Urgent services, schedules and availability
The reference to 24-hour or urgent service means that we try to respond to requests outside normal hours whenever there is availability. Arrival and execution times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, location, weather conditions, parts stock, technical complexity or other situations beyond our control.
14. Cancellation and right of free resolution
When the service is contracted remotely or outside the commercial establishment by a consumer, legal rules on the right to free resolution may apply. In urgent repair or maintenance services expressly requested by the customer for immediate execution, this right may be limited under the legally stipulated terms.
If the customer requests that the intervention begin before the end of any applicable free resolution period, they may have to pay for work already carried out, parts used, travel or other costs accepted, depending on the specific situation and applicable law.
15. Payment, invoices and documents
Payment terms are confirmed before or at the time of the intervention. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of the service or at the time agreed between the parties.
When applicable, receipts, invoices or equivalent documents will be issued in accordance with legal terms. The customer must provide the correct billing details when requesting an invoice with tax identification.
16. Warranty, limitations and liability
The intervention is carried out with professional diligence and in accordance with the existing technical conditions. The applicable warranty depends on the service provided, the parts used and the law in force.
We are not responsible for damages or failures resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer, pre-existing defects, normal wear and tear, improper use, intervention by third parties, previous attempted break-ins, structural changes, incompatible material or situations that cannot be detected before execution.
